Well, i think i have come up nicely with it for the past 2 days, i finished most of the front end stuff and now i will start working on the back-end,
i have completed the categories stuff, i worked most of the day on the requests and recommendation stuff, and all the stuff related to it, like the points award,PM,topic and more, i had alittle errors and stuff durning those but, i have managed to figure things trough.
I hope that i will finish the entire coding in about 3-4 weeks from now and then i will just clean up the code and write the instructions and installers, that would take me another week at least, the problem with me is that i hard-code everything in the templates and files, then do a little script to make it into a Language file and all that.
I have used some images that are present inside the IPB images directory to make it look nice.
Altough i hoped to make it a very big mod, it will be a lot bigger then i tought it would, i have removed several features that are not needed, like show how many requests and recommendations where made for each reward and such.
I retained the basic stuff and some extra to let the members work it out themselfs.
Removed some settings from the acp and added them directly to the rewards manager panel for the manager to manage it from there, like the PM being sent to the member on his rewards requests/recommendation being approved/rejected and the content of the topic that will be created on a new member being rewarded, of course everything can be set up from the ACP.
Another thing i have worked on is the personal portal tab for the members rewards that will be displayed there, i tought of ways on how to make it look right, so i added a url to the reward so who presses it will be able to request it as well or just look at it in the rewards page.
More things that i have done with it are the clean and rebuild stuff to add all of the data into cache, and retain it there, it will always update the cache making it show the latest rewards in the stats (which i will work at a later time).
Still can figure on how the actuall reward will be , with a link? with a form? Ajax maybe, but then again using anything rather then doing it actually from the rewards page itself will be pretty hard, but that will be in the next couple of weeks.
Hope i didnt board you with my stuff and didnt make it that long of an entry, Be cool you guys,
