This hook will allow to choose Latest News forum in front-end, without need to go to Admin CP to do it. New link will appear in FORUM MANAGEMENT menu in forum view for those who can access Admin CP and aren't restricted in Can edit/add settings and setting groups?.
Usage:
Usage:
- Set a forum as LATEST NEWS FORUM: click in link Set as Latest News forum in Forum Management in forum view to export latest topic as latest news from this forum.
- Unset a forum as LATEST NEWS FORUM: click in link Unset as Latest News forum in Forum Management in forum view to stop showing Latest News in board index.
- Change the forum: if you're already using a forum to export a topic to latest news and wants to use another forum now, just go to that new forum and click in link Set as Latest News forum in Forum Management in forum view to export latest topic as latest news from this forum.
- Tested only in IP.Board 3.1.4
