Before submitting a resource to our database, be sure it meets the following requirements:

    Modifications:
A mod should meet at least one of these criteria:
    • It must edit at least one file outside of the language and skin directories
    • It must be a complete language pack
    • It must be a module/component/XML import/Task or some other file that is uploaded
    • It must run some database queries
A submission that is just a single edit or fewer than 5 lines is not a mod.

Mods cannot include edited IPB source files, they can only give instructions to edit the files if edits are needed.

No mods will be accepted which pose a security risk to the members of the board that install the mod, such as mods that can access user passwords.

    Skins:
Skins must be submitted as full skin sets.  For example, for IPB 2.0 and later that includes both an image archive and the skin archive.  Submissions that are just one of these, or just an element such as a stylesheet, will not be accepted.

    All Submissions:
Submissions that are updates of someone else's work without permission are not allowed, you must get permission from the original author to submit their work.  Submissions of updates of someone else's work with permission must credit the original author for their work.  This credit need only be given for the initial update, after that update the new author is considered to have 'taken over' the project.

Please do not submit works here unless you plan on offering support on this site; it is unfair to our members to force them to go elsewhere to have their questions answered if they are getting their resource from here.  Should you find any submissions in our database where the author is directing you elsewhere for support, please report the file as broken and our staff will investigate the matter, and remove the submission if necessary.
