By default, IP.Board shows the topics/posts from all forums when the user uses the search. Using this hook, you will give the user the option to select which forums he wants to see in searchs results (VIEW NEW CONTENT, USER CONTENT and REGULAR SEARCH), directly on User Control Panel. It's very nice to be used on forums with many categories/forums. For example: a user that uses ASP may not want to see the posts from PHP forum or maybe user didn't want to see topics from RSS forum, etc.

This hook will give more control to board's administrator in birthday listing (board index sidebar hook and calendar). Now admin can:

Choose if wants to show member's age in birthday list
Choose which user groups can appear in birthday list
Specify the limit (in days) to prevent inactive members (based in member's last activity) from being listed in birthday list

Notice:

Birthday list in board index sidebar hook is based on Calendar cache. So if even after you change the settings and no change is noted on board index, visit the System tab in your Admin CP and then go to Cache Management. Click in Calendar tab and then click in Recache Cache in birthday line.
The setting to use group colors on user link was removed from this hook as now you can use (TB) Group Format - Addon for IP.Calendar 3.2.

You can import skins under the "Import" tab.

The Import tab is separated into three sections:
Import Skin Set, Import Image Set and Import Replacements. Each of these sections allow you to import the relevant xml files that make up a skin.

This skin you will be importing will have this 2 files:

The "Skin Set" filename will be the other file.
The "Image Set" filename will start with "images-".

Import first your Skinset file, after you will import image-set file and you have to Apply To Skin Set just imported

This is an application that allows you to create multiple countdowns placed around the board at your choice. The type of countdowns can be anything from a global happening, a local gathering with your members or any other kind of events, your sites anniversary, airing of a TV show, or pretty much anything else you would want to count down to.

Features:

The initial placement for the counters are the top and bottom of the page, and in the board index sidebar. Others can be added on request.
Group, forum and IP.Content pages restrictions.
Post embedding. Using IP.Board's "Shared Media" feature, you can add a countdown to all the official addon applications, and a lot of unofficial ones as well. All members can share a countdown that is enabled and they are allowed to see as per the group restriction.
Experts only:
- Custom style formatting. If you want to change the color, or the font size, this is easily doable if you know a little CSS.
- Change the layout and format of the counter

As this is the first release of this application, more features will be added in the future based on requests from you, the users.

With this picture you can have the effect of animated snow on the branding space, that is across the line of the logo.

How-to:

STEP 1:
load the image .gif folder in the folder of your skin, public / style_images / yourskinskin

STEP 2:
ACP> Look & Feel> Manage Skin Sets & Templates> Choose your skin> CSS> ipb_style.css
Find branding_bg (and copy the code to then be able to recover once the Christmas season is end) and replace the background with the line:

   background: #558525 url(http://www.devfuse.com/forums/public/style_images/master/branding_snow_tr.gif) repeat-x;

# 558525 is the background color (green in this example) (do not use too bright colors because the white flakes of snow are not seen)
