Aint there a chat box

Depends on what sort of chat you're looking for.
We have a chat box here just for the staff to use, which is just s duplicated version of this, which is modified and simplified a lot. IP.Shoutbox can also be used for this , if you have no intentions, or aren't already, using it, for your members.

I think he's talking about there being a chat box on the Invision Modding site for members to use.

Oh, if that's the case, we do have some plans to install IP.Shoutbox at some point, hence our need for a separate staff chat.
