Since the staff and I continue to get messages about this issue, I thought it was time to pin a topic about it. Please DO NOT send any of the staff a PM asking for help with your board, or asking for us to contact you via IM so we can help you with your board. If you want help with your board, POST A TOPIC. I, or someone else, will assist you at our earliest convenience if we know the answer.
If we help every single person over PM or IM, then we will continue to have to answer the same questions that way all the time. If you post your question on the forums, then the next person who comes here with the same questions will be able to search and find the solution that was posted.
Please remember, this is a community forum, not just a "FuSoYa/Michael contacting service".

Trust me Michael, I understand!
We're getting the same in our forum.
That's make me feel so bad. Because you've to pin a topic like this or answer by PM with the same info.

I feel your pain man, however I was considering sending you a PM about an additional little something added to iPoints. Im only missing 1 bit of code and the update is complete but i seem to have hit a brick wall. I will carry on though, sooner or later I will get it.

I don't mind that so much, Calypso, although it is usually better if such discussions are made out in the open so as to help other modders with similar issues. My big complaint is people joining and then immediately PM'ing me asking questions that need to be made in topics, such as asking where to find certain mods.

That applies to you, seeing as that post is your FIRST on the board. Calypso is a trusted staff member who has been here for a looong time. See the difference?

My computer is messed up. I can't develop anything until I get my grubby paws a new computer.
I do not offer support via PM or any other messenger service. Please use the forums.

As it is right now, I have 8 emails sitting in my Inbox reminding me of PMs I need to respond to. Lately, I spend all my time on the PM system instead of answering questions on the forums or developing the new features I have planned for this site. Do you think that's a good use of my time? I can't tell you the number of times I have considered disabling my personal messenger just to cut down on the "hey man, can you help me? My MSN is whatever@hotmail.com" PMs I get.
I cannot possibly answer all the questions people ask of me or fulfill all the mod requests people make of me, but no one seems to understand that...

Typically, yes, that's the sort of thing the Services system is designed to handle. Don't worry about opening a ticket in there now, I'll try to finish up your issue with you over PM.

When you have a problem like this, please post it in the appropriate forum with a little more information than that.
The message this topic conveys is already coming across, so I'm going to go ahead and close it.

(Thanks to China J for the awesome sig.)
"We, the unwilling, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have done so much, for so long, with so little, we are now qualified to do anything with nothing."
Haha, love it.

When you Pm'ed me asking for help and I responded by linking you to this topic, that was meant to let you know you needed to read this topic, not post your problem here. Some people...
