I haven't looked at 3.0 very closely .. Is this something that is built in?  If not do you upgrade all your paid mods Mike?

Just want to be sure before I make a purchase ..

Thanks

Dee

No, it doesn't look like this is built-in to IPB3.  I will upgrade this mod at some point.

I don't think so, but I'm not someplace where I can verify that at the moment.

Great mod but to be honest i only need one thing, and that is the "move member to user group" thing. For as far as i know there isn't a mod out there that lets admins/moderators do that from topic/profile view, is there?

So my question is, is there a "light" version or can you make one for a smaller sum of money? Sure $25 isn't that much but i really just need that one thing. I tried the "Advanced Moderation System" but that didn't work to well on our board and you cant really do that much with it.

Why i'm asking for a "light" version is that we use a military structure and all the groups are one rank, so to promote a member we have to change his group/rank in the ACP and to be honest we don't want everyone in there, yes you can set permissions in the ACP but that will take forever and not all our mods can be granted permissions.

Or if you by some chance know of a mod, free or paid, that does this one thing please point me in the direction.

I do't know of any existing mod that just lets you move members to other groups.  If you'd like to request a custom paid mod, please open a ticket in the Services system.

Thank you for your reply, yes we might do that but then again, your mod looks kinda sweet and is proved to work. I opened a topic in the mod department for now but it might be your mod we get.

Thank you.
