I'm sorry but that is not an excuse to be using unlicensed boards. You can quite clearly see that you get one test forum free when you buy the script. Nice to see you have changed your ways.

How about those who use more then one board on their site and have paid for only one license.  How do you know that the 2nd board is pirated.  Not me I run IPB and then phpBB3:)

Perhaps you should re-read Michael's first post and the board's guidelines.

I'm scratching my head here wondering why anyone would make a post advertising sources for nullified boards, being fully aware of this site's position on it.

Are you serious? Anyone who wants a nulled board know they can Google it, or anything else they want. Why anyone would want one of these nulled boards though, anouncing they are nulled, is beyond me.

I'm not saying a person can't use the sources available on the internet to find this stuff if they want to bad enough, I'm just saying it's probably not the right thing to do on this site by providing any assistance in doing so.

As I said, everyone knows how to get nulled software, so that search isn't going to teach them anything, and the reason I used that link was because the forums are plastered with this across the bottom --> Powered By IP.Board 2.2.0 © 2008  IPS, Inc. Nulled by <snip>

This makes them easy to find using Google.

Decided to post this here after I banned the account this thief re-registered with.  Personal information has been removed so as not to yell at this specific individual, the idea here is to just make the point.

Not being able to afford to buy IPB is not an excuse to steal it, period.  I can appreciate that you don't earn a great deal of money in whatever country you are in, but IPB is not really an essential item to living.  If you were earning so little money that you needed to steal food to survive, I wouldn't have a problem with that.  But you're stealing something that you don't actually need, you just want it.

I would love to have a new car.  My old one has 170,000 miles on it.  The drivers side window doesn't work.  The AC doesn't work.  I have an oil leak, and I typically have to keep a close eye on the oil, otherwise it'll all leak out before my next oil change.  I want a new car.  Do you think it would be OK, that since my earning power doesn't give me enough to go buy a new car, that I could just go steal one?  Of course not.  And it's the same with this.

So I said it before, and I apparently have to keep on saying it: we will not support people who we know are using stolen IPS software here.  Go ask the person who nulled the software for you if you have questions about it.
