Hi guys im looking for a bit of help with a custom skin i have for a forum i am admin on..

im totally new to all this and dont know a great deal about these things work, but here goes

the old board we had was version 1.4

the board we now have is 2.2.1

so as you will pretty much know the skin doesnt fit..

is there anyway we can get it to fit??

It'll have to be completely upgraded. 1.x to 2.2 is quite a jump.

Yeah, depending on how modified the skin is it can be a job that takes a few hours or a few days.

thats the skin we used to have on our board..

everything look fine on the main page and on the board index.. its just when we go to open a topic, all that happens is we get a blank page

I need a screenshot... I don't have a copy of 1.x - you can't download it anymore.

if you mean you need a screenshot of the skin on a 1.4 board then were a bit snookered... we dont have it running anymore.

the site is running on 2.2.1

as i said.. everything seems fine on the site index and when your just viewing the board index.. but as soon as you go into a topic then the skin doesnt work..

the page just stays blank

Post a screenshot of the board index then... Or give us a link.

Isn't that like an ExtremePixels skin or something?  I know I've seen that skin before.  You'd better ask whoever you got the skin from, people who make commercial skins like that don't always appreciate people updating their work.

thats the thing mate.. i dont know where the skin came from... the site was sold to the new owners a few months ago..

the new owners of the site dont know a lot themselfs and were still trying to get everything up and running..

im just part of the admin team, and because ive been on the site a few years theyve asked me to get it back to its former self

ive just found the extremepixels site.. and your right..

haha the previous owner had us all under the impression he made the skin..

i think we'll just repurchase it..
