There is now another update. 2.01

New for 2.01: System stability during use of some PLAYSTATION®3 format software has been improved.
New for 2.01: System stability has been improved for some operations, including the use of the Internet browser and the information board (Information Board).
New for 2.01: System stability during output of upscaled PlayStation®2 format software images has been improved.*1
New for 2.01: Functionality of the [Remote Start] feature has been changed to prevent an unintentional remote start. *2

*1 Applies only to models that support playback of PlayStation®2 format software.

*2 If [Remote Start via the Internet] is enabled, the PS3â„¢ system may turn on unintentionally, depending on the type of router in use. (In this case a remote play connection cannot be established.) To avoid unintentional power-up of the system, [Remote Start via the Internet] may be disabled automatically if a remote play connection is not established within a certain amount of time after the system is turned on.

I just joined the PS3 club. Actually just got a Samsung 40" 1080P LCD during the day after Thanksgiving sale for more than half off which was the model I've been wanting for months now. I bought a Sony blue ray player the model bs300 (don't recommend) which I took back because it was so slow to load that I thought something wrong with it. So that player was $399 with a free $100 gift card. They(BestBuy) let me keep the gift card for my troubles and I bought the PS3 80gb instead for $499 and used the gift card so I got it for $399 which was a good deal. I even got a free 2nd controller because of a price match with CirciutCity because they offered a free 2nd controller with theirs. Plus I had a 12% off Rewards Zone coupon because I am a member. All in all I am very very happy. It's fast for BlueRays and sweet on the games.

My PS3 screen name is CLUBUGLY if anyone ever want to meet for a game?

Hey Jay, take Motorstorm back and get Warhawk instead. Its WAY better.

Oh and the best buy by me has an Sony 36" LCD HDTV 720p blah blah blah for $799 open box, I'm debating on weather or not to get it.

I bought the Samsung T4066F LCD 1080P for $999 new. Normally $1900 was $2300 when I first started looking. You should wait til the day after x-mas now as I'm sure there will be better deals. I hate to see you buy a open box 720p for $799 when you could get a new and even a 1080P one for that or even less.

I may go get the Warhawk when my reward certificates come in the mail. Should be enough for a new game. Motorstorm came free with the PS3.

Ok, I'll keep an eye open. With my new job paying $3 more than what I used to get, I should be able to rake up the dough in no time. Can't wait for our annual Spring cleaning of our house so I can clean my room for new coming in.

Yes I have warhawk too. It came with a free bluetooth headset that I am able to setup in the main menu but everytime I play the game, I can't hear anyone... Am I missing something as it does work with my blackberry just fine?

Maybe, Make sure you have it setup in the Bluetooth setup area(it picks up your voice you speak). Then shut it off, then turn it back on, you should hear it ring(high pitch ring). then go into the game, it SHOULD work.

2.10 firmware is out in the next few days i believe

Tomorrow to be exact. The only updates that come with it are DivX (NOT XviD) and WMV playback. Other than that there really is UPDATE. So in reality it should only be 2.05 or something.
