Registrations problem

i have upgraded to 2.1 and the email validation upon reigstrating no longer works i think it may be to do with my version of php which i was going to upgrade after xmas to a better server is there any way of making it work in the meantime, any suggestion would be great

I am not sure about this....what version of php are you using anyways??

When you say it 'no longer works', what exactly is failing with it?  Users just never get their emails to validate their accounts?  You might check your Email Error Logs page in your ACP (On the Admin -> Board Logs page) to see if there are any errors in there that might help track down the problem.

Hi Guys thanks for the responses and the help i am on old server which is only running version 4 php we are going to upgrade after xmas but didnt want to do it before really, the error is saying 553 Incorrect email address and then the users email address not sure what it is tried looking for an explaination for the 553 on invision and there doesnt seem to be anything thanks for all your help guys
It looks like it is going through but just doesnt go as i have tested it a few times trying different things just doesnt want to work anymore so any help would be much appreciated

I'll be honest, I have no experience with this.  I've never had to alter any of my email settings besides the incoming/outcoming addresses.  Have you tried using SMTP mail delivery?

Hi thanks for all the help guys i am currently using the smtp delivery system i will keep playing with it and if i get it working will leave a note here to let you know what it is xxx

I have problem with email members validating. Email not send.
In acp/admin/View Email Error Logs:

IPB ERROR: No Info
SMTP CODE: 451
SMTP ERROR: No Info
