the original code is working for me too.
the other one just does  nothing else...just the same as the first one...

I must know how to do it myself...or what to replace.

I wish replace this with another code which make button disappear, as I explained:


i need more: this button disappear for a person post, if the author of the post has messenger disabled! doing so I wont try to write a message and after I writed it I discover I cannot send...


if a person has his messenger disabled, I need that he cannot see PM button at all, and that the others not see his pm button..

is that possible?

It worked, and looks nice.
But it did replace the "email" button I put up there the other day.
I like the PM button much better, but just thought I would mention that.

Instead of using...

{$author['message_icon']}

Use...

{$author['email_icon']}

EDIT... Tutorial created for this button instead, I thought I had already written one but if I did it was not submitted, added now anyway
