Adds small icons underneath the avatar that display what messenger services that member has filled out in their profile. Works with the 4 Messenger services that come standard in the IPB Profile: MSN, AIM, ICQ, and Yahoo. With settings in the ACP, you can enable / disable the system, as well as control whether or not the MSN icon is clickable. If this setting is enabled, when the MSN icon is clicked, it will automatically open an MSN conversation with that member. This part only works in IE as far as I know, and it will only work for the MSN icon.

This mod uses the Universal Mod Installer.

thanks, just re-uploaded to fix an error that caused the entire renderrow to become centered when this mod was disabled

Nice work RuneCore, someone requested this mod a while back and I believe it got good response.

After a quick google search, I figured out how to make the MSN clickable feature work on firefox, but its on a personal basis and envolves messing around with your computers registry...i really dont see going through the trouble, this feature was just an after-thought, but If you really want to make it work:

open notepad and paste this code into it:

Doesn't seem to work for me.

I ran the installer via UMI and made the edit to Topic View > Render Row.

I've turned it online via Tools & Settings but there are no icons appearing under my (or anyone's) avatar.

This mod installs quite easily with no file edits and one skin edit. If you PM me with the ACP url and login info I'll take a look.

Everything was installed correctly and it fails to show as you stated. I did notice that the skin edit performed on RenderRow borked the column width and the rank pips so I removed it.

If you preview the template bit as HTML it's not showing correctly, so it seems the RenderRow skin edit needs to be fixed.

How do I fix it though when I make the correct edits and it still doesn't work?

ah, right, sorry about that

thats my personal code for my own site (notice the profile_msn2.gif instead of just profile_msn.gif)...i use a different msn icon on my site...saved the wrong code in the install guide

also, not sure exactly what became "borked", i have installed on 3 different sites and they all look normal to me...but here, try this code, ill reupload as well:
