This is my first modification for IPB, and I hope you enjoy it.

What does this mod do?
This mod adds a full functional global announcement to where ever you want on the board.

Features
-On/Off
-Determine who can see it by user groups
-Announcement Title
-Announcement Description (Allows HTML)
-Collapse/Uncollapse Announcement box for user preferences

What do you mean by that?

What he asks is if he has to enter what area of the forum the message will be shown.

To answer this, no. From what I've learned about the word "Global", adding such feature wouldn't make sense

Yes, this shows up on absolutely everything except for the lo-fi pages

It is needed to show announcement for example only on a main page or only in a calendar.

Hello,

Like I said, this is my first mod, so it might take me awhile, but I will sure try.  I am working on the new version and almost the whole mod has been rewritten.  This will allow more features/functionality.

Please be sure to post up ideas on what you want to see in this new version!
