File Name: (V88)Private profiles

File Description: With this mod you can give your members ability to set there profile as private to show only to there friends.
This mod has an option to set the mod on/off And to allow to certain groups to over ride that settings and to enter members profiles even if they are not there friends.
There are few things in order to set this mod on/off.

1. Enable it trough the ACP -> Tools & Settings -> (V88)Private Profiles -> Private Profile? - Set to 'Yes'
2. Each member will then need to enable the option in the My Control Panel -> Edit Profiel Information -> Private Profile? -> Set to 'Yes'
3. In order to allow for certain group the ability to bypass the Private Profile of members set this option on log in to the ACP -> Tools & Settings -> (V88)Private Profiles -> Private Profile Groups -> Choose the groups that will be able to bypass the setting (You can choose more then one by hitting the CTRL button).

sorry this mod not working because when I going My Controls -> Edit Profile Information -> Private Profile? I set to 'No' and still is 'Yes'  why is that ?

next when I enter profil I see everything even i set to 'yes' in my controls shouldn't show profile I guess

I think i double checked the settings and everything and two members have reported for this to work just fine. Could you show me your site so i could take a look.

OK from what i can tell your sources/lib/func_usercp.php edit was not done or is bad. Please redo the edits in that file.

Good idea for a mod but I really think this needs a group permissions setting so you can choose which group can use this feature.

Well nobody is perfect. I tried to make this as user and admin friendly as possible. I will take this note into consideration.

Vadim... I think you're misunderstanding what I meant. I think it's a great mod and glad you made it. I'm just wondering if you could add group permissions to the next version of the mod. For example, in forums that have paying VIP members, this would be a nice feature for subscribers only.

I got what you mean, And like i said it's impossible to add everything all at once, And i have stated that i will take it into consideration if there will be more requests for this.

installed. i get the same issue as zio.
it should automatically be set to NO or blank and let you choose instead it's just YES and won't update until they 'amend my profile' but they won't know because it stays YES after the refresh even if they select NO. alot of people may be confused and will just think it's not working.
small fix i would think, can't say.

edit; and if you set it to yes, there should be some kind of friend request pm sent along in the "add as friend" link so the person knows you want to add them or else they'll never know
