Lubu, isn't that setting for images within the sig, not the actual sig itself?

I will have deep look into this as not tested it with new added patched just looked what patch was etc. Also the images and use text is all limited i believe you say how much text like and how many images you like but check this also.

did you get a chance to lookin to the patch code to make it work with messages.
text and images have there own limits but an globel signiture limit is needed, for when images and text are used in the same signiture.

I was just making sure you knew that the image MAX Size setting is only per single image... so someone could put 3 images in their site, each of which are under the max image setting, but combined they are way over it.  From your post you differentiated between the single image max size and the overall sig size, and I was making sure you weren't confusing the 2.

exactly why it needs an overall signature size limit to stop this happing, where multi images or text and images are used.

I will look making overall size limit soon but at moment its little hard for me do any updates on my mods.

If you are in need of a quick fix for topic view, do this:

ACP->Look&Feel->(Find Skin)->Edit Template HTML-> Topic view->RenderRow

find:

			{$post['signature']}

replace with:

<div id="signature" style="height: 275px; overflow: hidden;">
			{$post['signature']}
</div>

and replace the "275" with the max height you want.

same would work in the message template.

The version her is 1.1.0 the issue with the UMI part forgot update the info tags from 1.0.6 to 1.1.0 but its is 1.1.0 for sure.

When I upgraded to 3.0x the settings remained in place even though I no longer have a place to modify them. Is there a way to revert the settings or make them accessible again?

Hey, just installed this mod on my board (version 2.3.3). Everything went off smoothly as far as I can tell. No errors whatsoever after installation. The only problem is, the limitations I've put in place just haven't taken effect. Does this mod not work on existing signatures? Or does it not work on existing members?

It is more than likely that this mod will only work for new signatures or when members come around to updating their current ones.

Ok i must add this the Mod work perfectly but you will find if install this mod on current used forum that Limit will not start to work to user update signature, if have fresh board then this mod will work from day one

if a member use the [img] tag in capital letters [IMG]
they can bypass the limits

to prevent this, I edited the func_usercp.php

Find:

# Check posted images
		$img = substr_count($sig, "[img]");

Replace With:

# Check posted images
		$img = substr_count($sig, "[img]");
		$IMG = substr_count($sig, "[IMG]");
		$img = $img + $IMG;
