Any idea on when this will be available for v3.0?
And will those of us who have purchased it for v2.x have to purchase again, or will the upgrade be free?

Don't really know when exactly right now. IPB 3 code is completely different from IPB 2.3, it's gonna be really like building this from scratch. But i will take into consideration maybe giving X% off the price for people who bought this already.

Just a quick update that the modification was updated for IPB 3. I tried to fulfill all requests posted by the members and i think it came out pretty good. I will post some more information and screen shots in the upcoming days.

I understand that these are blocks, but will this mod appear across the top of the main forum index page as I prefer that than having it as a hook. Can you confirm that I can do this please

This looks to be exactly what I needed, if the blocks show on all the topic pages too.  At the moment I´ve got my sponsors placements top, left, right, and bottom - but only the top and bottom show on the topic pages.

I see that IPS are bringing out their own community content system that includes, as well as page template, page & media manager, a block manager which looks to do the same thing.  I expect that this will cost a lot more than your mod though - and probably be a yearly license.  

Can´t wait to see the info and screen shots you promised.

Any chance of the url of this test board showing the custom blocks both sides so I can see what it looks like on actual post pages - I need the custom side blocks to also show there, not only in the topic list view as in your screen shot.

Just wanted to say, now that I´ve found the correct topic to post this in    (don´t ask)  Thanks to Vince for a great mod and your patience with me.

The blocks do exactly what I wanted them to do, which was to show my sponsors adverts on every page - they are so happy they have agreed to sponsor my site again next year
