With this mod you can add a block that will show only in the My Rides forum, That block will have the Most active ride topic and 4 other active topics.
You get to choose which forum is the My Ride forum from the ACP, You can also set a custom pre defined message that will be displayed inside the post area only when creating a new topic inside the My Rides forum.
In that forum when opening a new topic a user will HAVE to upload an image using IPB's attachment system and the first image will be Displayed as the topic icon on the main topics listing page inside the My Rides forum.
Inside a topic next to every post there is a link that will link to the last topic a member made in the my rides forum.
NOTICE: A member will have to actually upload at least one attachment in the My rides forum and will have to include at least one attachment inside the post. Just add one or all the attachments uploaded inside the actual post to be able to post the new topic.

Vadim, don't take this the wrong way, but I love you. Well, I love how your mind works. This is a perfect mod for my model car forum. Everyone was lamenting the fact that the profile page in IP.Board didn't have room for what we call your "Daily Drive" like we do on the current forum software. This takes that idea and makes it 100 times better. It's no wonder you get so much of my money.

Sorry, Currently it works on one forum only. But with a little tweak in can work with several. Contact me if you wish to extend it for you.

Thanks Gary, Actually that was requested by a member it took a while to complete since it does stuff that normally won't be included by default in a forum software.

Where is the price on this? and will it work with 2.2?

it's 20$ and no it won't work with 2.2 i am afraid since it uses a built in function that was introduced in 2.3

I'd like to point out that not only have you got "Boostcruising.com" water marks in your example images, such as:

But this entire mod is a clear rip off from Boostcruising.com... such as the following URL:

You haven't even made an attempt at customizing this mod your own style to hide the fact that you stole the idea - you've gone ahead and copied it completely, text, layout, everything!

Find some creativity man, marketting this off as an original idea that you stole from someone else and then trying to sell it for $20 is just plain wrong.

I did not steal the modification, But i did use the idea. This is something that was requested by a customer to be the way it is now. I did it by the description he gave me from the titles in the blocks to the images and links places in the blocks. And like we have discussed in the PM if there is a law against imitating then i will remove it otherwise i can't afford taking this out of the stand just like that. We can work it out via PM.

Could it not be adapted to work with 2.2? As in simply removing/not doing the edits for the 2.3 bits? Probably sound real noobie now innit lol, sorry.

Reason I say that tho is because the BoostCruising link shows that they are using 2.1 and if you have used very similar coding to what they have, then maybe your mod could be used throughout the entire 2.1-2.3 version range???? Just an idea, thats all

there are at least 3 garage modules that I am aware of that work with IPB and they are all very similar, then there are others which work with phpBB which is where the original IPB modules were converted from, so I dont think there are any concerns over 'legality', else, which one would you start with?

@James yes this is 100% legal to purchase, This was not stolen this was coded from scratch just was inspired but that author website, there is no law against imitating content. If there was then IPB and VB would have been fighting all the time in court.

@marts this was coded for 2.3 despite the fact that BoostCruising is using 2.1 the codes are completely different since this one was done by me and the one BoostCruising uses was done by someone else for an older version.

I got a question....

Is this mod able to recreate a forum which already has information in it? Or would the mod have tio be started from fresh?

Sorry, that probably makes no sense lol,,, What i mean is, I have a section which my members post pictures of their cars. There are pages of already created posts/threads by these members... Now would I be able to say move these posts into the mod, or would the members have to repost their car pics, meaning I would pretty much have to delete the entire 'Members Cars' forum?

Or have I got this mod completely wrong altogether? lol

Once you install this modification, just choose the forum it will work on, then >IF< in that forum all pictures that are inside the topics were uploaded via the IPB attachment system then it will show the pictures as it should. Just like the pictures above no need for creating a new forum and stuff like that. But remember only if the pictures were upload using the attachment system.

The thing is, I prevent members from attaching files Oh well, looks like i'd have to edit each and every post (as admins/staff can attach).

But this mod is just what I need to differ my site from all the rest
