Just a minor announcement to let you know we've created a new forum to show the new entries in our Blogs we host here on this site. Everytime someone here makes a new Blog entry there will be a new topic posted in that forum. Those new topics that get created will be created in Closed status so that you can go to the Blog entry itself to comment on it, that way there aren't two separate places for discussion of the particular Blog entry.
Right now we're only importing our own Blog's RSS feed, although we do also import the IPS Company Blog's feed in our IP.Board RSS News forum. We may add more feeds later if we find any good ones, so keep checking back!

That's why I did this, the Blogs were getting very little activity, I want people to use them more than they have been.

That's something I've been hoping to do on my forum. Is it set up the same was as RSS news feeds?

Pretty much. I just needed to turn the Blog setting "Override permissions for RSS feeds?" to Yes to enable this, otherwise I was getting an error topic created in that forum. But setting up the RSS Import is the same as any other Import.

Still having issues with my entries not showing Mike, and I've checked the settings as you suggested. I just made a new entry a few moments ago, and nothing.

I've still got the ticket open with IPS about this, I can't see why it's doing this for you either.

I'd like to try this on my site also...but first, where do you find the RSS feed for your blogs?

You might have to adjust the settings a little bit (Blog > Settings > "Blog feature settings") , there's a couple of RSS related settings in that section

EDIT... Found it ... "Override permissions for RSS feeds? , Allow RSS feeds even if guests are not allowed to view the Blogs?"
@Depot, on your actual blog settings pop-up on here, have you checked "Allow others to syndicate your Blog?" ?

Well, this doesn't make any damn sense at all then. Because that "The board administrator has disabled Guest viewing" setting isn't stopping my Blog, Martin's Blog, or Dee's blog from being syndicated.
