Update for January 23rd, 2009

Another week has gone by, and things are still progressing fairly well with the plans we have for the site. We have a few projects that we have yet to reveal that some folks have been focusing on, we hope to get those a little further along before we talk about them publicly. Rest assured that these are going to be some very cool features, things you're not going to find anywhere else, and will be very interactive with all members.

We've been working for a while on a new custom skin for the site that we were hoping to reveal a while ago. With IP.Board 3 coming out soon, we've decided to take that work we had done and transfer it over to that new format. So while we won't have any new skin for IP.Board 2.3.x, when we do upgrade we will be getting a unique skin for the site. We hope you like the new look! Just as a side note to go along with this, our main design guru Sean is going to be away for the next week or so, so there likely won't be any new progress on this for that time.

While we still await IP.Board beta 2 and the inevitable changes it will bring to the work we've already done, we continue to work at updating mods both for use on this site and for distribution through this site. While we continue to work on the CSC and Tutorials mods, we've also started converting our Store and Services components to work with IP.Board 3 as well. In addition, other staff members are also upgrading their own mods and taking advantage of what IP.Board 3 offers to make them even better; m4rtin is cooking up something pretty nice.
