the same here i tried a lot but it is not working also as it didn't show on the registering form
even i followed the steps exactly many times .
i really need this mod and thanks in advance
my version is also 2.3.6

Same thing happened for me, Nothing showed. my version is 2.3.4

Oh my gosh! Found it!

Open sources/action_public/register.php
Find:

$this->output = str_replace( " <!--{DP23.CHOOSE.GROUPS}-->", $dp23cgr->CreateForm(), $this->output );

Change to:

$this->output = str_replace( "<!--{DP23.CHOOSE.GROUPS}-->", $dp23cgr->CreateForm(), $this->output );

Save and upload.

Hmm... to bad that you can't validate a member after you install this mod.
Tried this with our groups, we have one group for every army rank, so when they registered they got to choose from group1 and group2, this bypasses the "validation" group and they can log in right away after they activate their account.

Sorry to bump such an old topic.

But i was wonderding how this mod populates the list it creates. As i want it to list the groups in alphabetical order. But it seems to do it randomly.

Does it have something to do with this line?
