Is it supposed to only move one inactive member at a time? It seems to be doing this on my forum and I have to click it multiple times to get move people.

Sorry for the long wait, guys. This should be fixed in the latest release.

It will honor that setting pr default, with an option to not honor it.

And as of now, it will do 250 at the time. So if you have 1000 inactive members, it will take 4 days (task runs) to notify/delete/move them. Same goes for old messages.

I have installed this, and all appears fine except this. According to my logs, it only moves one at a time, and I have to click on the task and tell it to perform again for it to do another member, and on and on. There is more than one member, as it finds a new one each time I click on the task.

When I run the debug it only finds one member at a time as well, although I don't see anything in the query telling the system to stop after one.
Thanks for the mod, very useful for me
Use it on 2.3 and now at 3.0
But he also brings me to one member

Make sure you've enabled those tasks in the settings. If you disable them, the task will be disabled the next time it runs. You can also try to run them manually trough the task scheduler. A PHP error can also caused it to get disabled.

Look in the task log. The tasks will also be disabled if some of the required settings are empty.

Hi mate, have installed this mod in my forum, forum version number is latest stable release (3.0.5 (30012), I have a very small forum membership (under 250) and i'm pretty sure I have all settings right, I only use the Notify Inactive Members and Move Inactive Members tasks, I have set up a seperate group to move the inactive members into. The System Scheduler tells me that both tasks will work at 01:00:00 AM GMT, and I have run both tasks in debug to make sure that the settings worked and to see how many members it found (I have it set for inactivity for 270 days), I was online not long after both tasks were suppose to run and looked to see how many were warned and / or moved, none were ??? , I checked the tasks and both were showing (LOCKED), I unlocked them and it has been another day and nothing has changed, no moves or anything, and both tasks are again in LOCKED status, just wondering what I have done wrong, thanks in advance, cheers Pete.

Have you checked in the task logs? If something went wrong - with your settings or something else, you'll see the error message there.

I had the "Generate a daily task log" set to "no" on both the secions that I am using, I have turned them on now, although there was a log in the "Move incative members" one with the subject of "'Email/PM Subject' or 'Email/PM Message' is empty. Go to the settings and correct this, then unlock this task" and I have put in a subject, sorry I missed this. I have enabled the task log and will UNLOCK both tasks and wait for the next cycle, and I will report back, thanks for the help.

P.S. I guess the reason I didn't have the task log going is because I ran it in debug mode and it seemed to work ok, silly me, should of had it enable so I could see why it's not going.

Cheers Pete.

January 1th 2010: Version 1.0.3 has been released to address an issue with SQL errors in "Delete Inactive Members", and errors are bypassed while sending personal topics (Move Inactive Members)

I know there was a bug in 3.0.4 and below were 3rd party tasks self-locked for no apparent reason. If your issue isn't solved with the changes you've made, please let me know.

Tasks worked, I forgot or missed the piece where I had to put in my user ID, it was still set on "0" and not "1" for me, all worked, members moved to the new group, does the e-mail to members show up in the bulk e-mail list ?, (as it hasn't) or does the board just send the e-mails ?, sorry to be a pain, but as I always say, "if you don't ask you never learn", cheers Pete.

Update: got mail with one of my "dummy" accounts I haven't used for a while, e-mail send not shown in bulk e-mail section, never mind, works well, also did the update to latest version, all hunky dorrie ;), thanks again for your help, cheers.
