This seems to be beyond my IRC knowledge. I'm not really sure how you've set this up, and how you want it to work.

You have to open the settings for the tab, and choose which groups are allowed to use it.
The settings are located in My Apps -> (IM) iRC-Chat.

Would it be possible to use Mibbit instead? I hear there are less bugs and user problems with it compared to PJIRC but really don't have any evidence to back that up.

There is this topic on IPS forums: http://forums.invisi...bbit-ajax-chat/ but I think this hook with Mibbit would be much better. ;)

Thanks.

Think that depends on the IRC server/network. I'll see what I can do about that for the next release.

all i get is the option to make it admin or public and a few other non important things like the short name of things, but nothing allowing me to choose groups. Also i tried public same issue.

That is out of my hands, I think. It either means you've not allowed Java access to the internet, the connection is blocked by your firewall (or ISP), or something along those lines.
Restart your browser, and make sure you allow the Java applet to connect to the internet.

Try to recache your skins.
You can do so in ACP -> Look & Feel -> Template Tools

Set the Appletpath setting back to default, or remote /public_html/ from it.

No I didn't. But I don't have time to check out how that works, and if it's even possible to do it in an easy way.

Alright. That's fine. Perhaps in the future when you have some time then.

Thanks anyway!

[Question 1]
If i used proxy server to visit this mod, it gave me  the message :

Quote

[22:42] Unable to connect : java.net.UnknownHostException : irc.collectiveirc.net

What can i do ? accept some port number ?

[Question 2]
In my server apache access log , it said:

Quote

[02/Nov/2009:07:57:31 +0800] "GET /forum/pjirc/com/ms/security/PermissionID.class HTTP/1.0" 404 2259 "-" "Mozilla/4.0 (Windows XP 5.1) Java/1.6.0_13"

But i can't find the directory or files, what does it mean ?

Thanks.
