Compatibility:
- This mod is compatible with IP.Board 2.2.x Series and 2.3.x Series

Requirements:
- This mod was designed to be installed using the Universal Mod Installer, available from Invision Modding.

./index.php

Be Sure to back up these files before continuing

am I missing the screen shot here ... not yet installed this but is it
possible to edit it without entering into Admin CP ... of course the
edit link should be visible for the Admin group only . Many Thanks

At moment i don't have screen shot done, but you can edit text via front off index page but only items need change in admin cp is permissions.

what happened to my post? i posted the driver error?

^ well , I don't think it is due to this mod ! IPS DRIVER ERROR could be due to many factors ... and as I understand ,
it appears to be some mistakes in editing of class_display.php

when was the mod added and when it was added , do you remember
taking back-ups of class_display.php and index.php and edited both ...

if so just replace the back-ups and it should be alright without this Mod !

i honestly dont know what caused it. I installed this mod and private forum mod and everything was working. I log in and the last action he said he did was type html in the staff panel.

I already reverted all edits on those two mods, it still dont work.

I enabled all debug modes on init.php and it didnt write to a file.

most probably , you can log into ACP ; put board offline ; disable the new
MODs one after another and check if everything reverts to normal .
if its normal then turn back Board online

Later check for any mistakes in editing ... etc by taking the backups !

Whats the issue ? as installed this before on my demo with out errors.

I think it was The Private Forum Mod and This mod. It just messed up my board bad when he tried inputting html in the staff panel.

I reported the post, so a mod can delete all my replies from this thread. I don't know might have been some bad file edits.

the screen shots : settings at ACP (29KB) , appearance (5KB)

now , I'd like to change the titles in the Mod

i.e. I need to change main title "Latest News and Announcements",
the two other titles "Latest News" & "Announcements" with some
other words in utf-8 character encoding . could you help please

I hope following is correct !!

to edit  text appearing on the staff panel :
I need to edit the required text in the xml file & reinstall the mod

to edit the informative titles which appear to the members :
I have to edit in the text added to the class_display.php file

any corrections please ...

^ could you please elaborate . The mod takes exact width of the board

if I'm not mistaken , the width has to be changed in the xml
file ( newsannounce.xml ) and the mod needs to be re-installed
