Modyfikacja umożliwia tworzenie fałszywego ruchu na forum. Tworzone są sesje "duchy", w przypadku których odwiedzający (goście) przeglądają stronę główną, jakieś forum lub czytają losowy temat. Czas trwania takiej sesji wynosi 1 godzinę i takie sesje tworzone są o każdej pełnej godzine.

Modification enables creating false traffic in board. "Ghost" sessions are being created in case of which the guests look at the main board page, forum or read random topic. Time of this session is 1h and this sessions are created every full hour.

Nothing against you, but I think this kind of mod shouldn't be accepted here. The idea of pretending traffic it's not good and it's a lie!

Not sure if i understand the topic correctly, but all this Mod obviously does is to create additional sessions.
There are a few "Additional activity" Mods around, what's the problem with this?

I know... Elad from PZ Networks did it. Another *&@*#@ mod...

I don't like the idea of lie to my users or to anothers forums... If I have great content, I will have users, sooner or later! Simple like that!

Adriano, i agree with you to 100%.

BUT - as always there exist a 'But' - especially virgin forum projects have some issues to attract attention.
Visitors associate low activity with a boring community.

Especially no-main-stream forums have to deal with some problems, esp. to get the needed audience and members.
I dont lie - i'm a owner of such a forum.

I've spend a few hundred $ for a custom solution - and believe it or not, the results speaks definitly pro "activity".
Sure, without content you have no chance to survive. Finally it is a sum of many different things. Content and the (right) User are the most valuable params a forum need. To get both and to speed up that progress, some tweaks are sometimes required.

After 4 month using "additional activity" i was able to turn off the Mod.

I put this mod on my board and found the false activity is giving search engines more info too.

Also at 3am in the morning members like to think they are not alone.

I tried this mod and it put the number of guests up to 147 in 30 minutes. Is there a way to not have it keep adding guests so quickly and to have it remove some of them?
