If the intention is that you enter your twitter username in the text field which then parses to a link in your profile view... it doesn't parse. All I get is a plain (non-linking) text output.
Nobody reads this bit...

Not sure what to say.. If you followed it exactly it should work fine. I've just redone it using my own tutorial and it worked...

Thanks for this, I got it working fine.  I did have my own custom field before (just text), and to get this to work I had to delete that field and enter it in again.  Just editing the existing one didn't work for some reason.  But once I deleted and re-added with your instructions, it works.  ;)

This isn't a bug, but a problem. Some of my members are putting their whole Twitter link. Is there a way to make both work or for there to be a message to not include the part before the slash?

#In Portuguese: Tem como colocar @ antes do nome... igual fazem nos sites e TVs?

#In English: It has as to place @ before the equal name… they make in the sites and TVs?
