If the intention is that you enter your twitter username in the text field which then parses to a link in your profile view... it doesn't parse. All I get is a plain (non-linking) text output.
Nobody reads this bit...

Thanks for this, I got it working fine. I did have my own custom field before (just text), and to get this to work I had to delete that field and enter it in again. Just editing the existing one didn't work for some reason. But once I deleted and re-added with your instructions, it works.

This isn't a bug, but a problem. Some of my members are putting their whole Twitter link. Is there a way to make both work or for there to be a message to not include the part before the slash?
