Ive just tried this on a fresh install of RC1 both IPB3.0 and RC1 2.0.0 but when i try to add a link to a sharebee file it just keeps saying the file type isnt allowed.

In case you've didn't notice, there are two scripts there: one that allows any kind of URL and a second one that uses BLACKLIST from IPB.
If you have any site on BlackList, it won't be allowed on IDM 2.0.0.

Is that your case ?

My bad! On same file, find:

else if( $error_number > 1 )
Change to:

else if( $error_number > 2 )

NP.

Admin CP -> System tab -> System Settings -> Forums -> Topics, Posts and Polls.

Take a look at URL Filtering Options.
