Gerry, surely pages are created/edited in the ACP aren't they? If that is true then only those with ACP access can insert/edit pages - can't they?

OK, I think I'm getting somewhere.

When I click on the Custom Pages tab on the board index the page list is displayed but the tab text looks like: "htp://www.......app=custompages" instead of just saying 'Custom Pages'

How do we fix that?

Small remarks, the emoticons aren't showing for me, I did set them to show. Also, in the header of my browser when going to "Custom Pages", it shows the link "http://website.com/forums/index.php?app=custompages", shouldn't it show as a title "Custom Pages"?

Also a cool feature would be that you can preset "categories" for the custom pages. For example if you want one category "Tutorials" and another category "FAQ" so that you can make seperate articles in those categories that match the category.

Yes, all are 777. My only problem now seems to be the tab showing "http://.....app=custompages"

Nice mod DawPi. I've tried it on my test board but I'd like to see an ability to use PHP in pages if that's possible? Also, I'd like an option to disable a menu of pages. I had a component version (long since gone) for 2.1 > 2.3 by FlightMike where you could use PHP in uploaded pages (it didn't have an admin menu) and I made my site revolve around that mod. When 3.0 came out I'd more or less gone back to making my own site pages. These are just ideas that would encourage me to use this mod if they could be put into a future version. Thanks for all of your efforts in making and improving your mods.

Thank you for your reply! Oh!! I see!! Yes, It looks like the queued Items hook that I installed did this (I don't have IP.Download, but the queued items hook had me upload to that directory)! Thanks for pointing that out -- I would have never known that was causing it because I only look at the Hooks CP most of the time. I will go to that mod's topic to see how to fix it.

Hi there, slight problem.

Is there anyway to make it so that more groups can view each custom page? basically on my forum, I must have about 150 or so groups, but when I create a page I can select all my groups, but when I click out of that screen and go back in, only about half of the groups are selected meaning they can't view the custom page? does that make sense?

Any help will be hugely appreciated!

Hiya

I cant get the coding to stay on the custom made pages.  I am trying to add some code for my chatforum chatroom, but it wont display on the page?  This is the most important page on my site and I cant get it to work?  

Can anyone give me some ideas please?

Oh and I noticed on your screen shots of a custom made page both the bbcode and html are ticked but on mine only html is ticked.  I have checked settings and both are enabled

Double check settings and recache all caches on board, including settings.
