File Name: Queued Items 1.1.0
File Submitter: Michael
File Submitted: 27 Jul 2009
File Updated: 09 Dec 2010
File Category: IP.Board v3.0.x

Adds a block to your sidebar that reports on all items that have been queued for staff attention. Examples of items that can be queued are topics, posts, & calendar events. Support is also built-in for each of the other official applications for IP.Board: IP.Blog, IP.Gallery, IP.Downloads, IP.Content & IP.Nexus. The system is available to be expanded upon by third-party application authors as well, by including a queuedItems.php file in your application's /extensions directory.

Does it or could it show hidden Links (System) Michael?

It doesn't right now, but it can if a small file was included with the Links application.  I'll get with Brandon later on to see if he needs help creating it, although I'm pretty sure he can figure it out given the existing plugins included with this.

I just posted a file over at IPS for Brandon to take a look at, if you'd like you can give it a try too:

http://forums.invisi...ost__p__1834178

I haven't installed the Links apps anywhere so I haven't tested it yet, but I think it'll work.  I know he'll need to add a language string to the app too to make this work.

Honestly? I don't know what to do with the 'links system' file you attached to that topic  ;)

Maybe I should wait until it's fully incorporated in the original mod. I can't break anything that way  :)

Edit: The penny just dropped! Installing it now.

Thank you Michael. All working and just what I needed!

For the record, the links file lives in /admin/applications_addon/other/links/extensions/

Love this mod, one suggestion though. Every time I click "one queued topic/post/..." it brings me to one of those topics/posts. I just noticed something:

Quote

Queued Items

    * 170 queued post(s)
    * 194 queued topic(s)
    * 1 queued gallery comment(s)

It's gonna be a real pain approving/denying all of these things one by one, would it be possible for you to just make a topic/post list of all of the topics/posts that the moderator would be able to tick and at the end just select "make invisible/delete" or whatever?

Really cool mod though ;)

To do that would require converting this to an application, I have no plans to do that at this point.  As a hook, there's no real way to make custom pages like what you're looking for.

Just what I was looking for, installed perfectly for me. This is something I'll look at integrating with some of my mods.

Feel free. ;)  Let me know if you need help creating the plugin, although it shouldn't be too hard.

Michael this is been a long time coming, it's just excellent!  I have not installed it yet but going to do very soon.  I was going to put function on this on it's own tab but since you made this I will use this.  Is there anyway to put it in it's own tab (eg link system, tracker), would love to see a full spread instead of just the side bar but this is cool man, thanks!

Just noticed this on the Manage Applications and Modules page. I don't have either the blog or the gallery.

Warning: DOMDocument::load() [domdocument.load]: I/O warning : failed to load external entity "public_html/forums/admin/applications_addon/ips/gallery/xml/information.xml" in public_html/forums/ips_kernel/classXML.php on line 340

I'll just delete the folders but might be confusing for some people.

Same problem here. I no longer use the blog or downloads.

I suppressed the warnings by deleting the 'blog' and 'download' folders within the /admin/applications_addon/ips folder

You'll need to remove these 2 folders blog and download in admin/applications_addon/ips/

Michael is there any issues for me turning this into more of a application then a hook.  I have a lot of invisibled posts and would rather have them display out under a tab on it's own page then on the side.  Let me know if that is ok?
