Our old VPS was below average in terms of speed and they were down half the time. So we switched back to Godaddy but still pretty slow. Anyways does anyone know a good hosting site that is up 99% of the time along with good loading times? I heard Invision offer some kind of hosting is this true? We have about 50 people connecting to my website at a time. On busy days its usually about 80-90. I'm willingly to pm you the link to my site to see if there is anything else that could decide a host.

I'll move it to "Computers & Technology" as its not IPB 3.0 specific, and you're more likely to get more answers here.

IPS do hosting yes, they recently changed their packages, you can find out about it at these links:
http://www.invisionp...ing/website.php (traditional website hosting)
http://www.invisionpower.com/hosting/ (hosted communities, probably not that suitable if you already have a licence)
I have a hosting package from them (its one of the older ones, now it would be the equivalent of "silver" I'd guess) although I don't currently have a live board installed there.
Their shared hosting is quite fast though, as the servers are not overloaded (I'm not just saying that, its true)

If you're looking for a non-managed (You do all the setup yourself through SSH), RapidSwitch seems like a good host. Signed up for the 512MB package in December, and it's been quite stable thus far.

I have http://byethost.com/ I use them for two hosting packages.
I also use them to register Domains.
If I'm not mistaken it runs me about close to $50 a year, for hosting. Domains about $10 a year..
Bandwidth, is unlimited. 100 mail accounts,
I find there support excellent, when I ask for help I get a response usually within a couple of hours..some even sooner depending on the level. They have three levels of support. They also have a forum similar to this one for help and advice.
They are UK based.
