With this modification you can set password for each topic separatelly. User must enter pass on each topic load or you can change it to based on cookies time.

Features:

• enable/disable system,
  
• choose in which forums users can set topic passwords,
  
• access type: each load or based on cookies,
  
• set cookies time: how many days user won't enter password again,
  
• set brute force: how many times user can try enter password for each topic,
  
• choose which groups can set topic passwords,
  
• choose which groups can open topics without knowing passwords,
  
• choose which groups can remove topic passwords by one click,
  
• topic authors can open own topics ( yes or not ),
  
• password settings: minimum and maximum lenght,
  
• encode type: MD5, SHA1, ROT13, MD5+SHA1,
  
• allow password changes,
  
• protected areas: topic view, profile topics tab view, search results.

wow, DAWPI, I do think your mod is ALWAYS right to people's need and keep up with trends

I asked for this function on IP.blog as this is quiet standard on all blog providers such as wordpress, blogspot..etc
