Whats the best way to prevent spam in 2.3? I tried the ultimate bot blocker but it didn't work.....wouldn't let me register.....

please advise.

Use 2.3.6 (if you are using an earlier version) to ensure you get ReCaptcha support built in (and it also has a PM flood limit to prevent mass PM spam)
