It worked fine yesterday but today it does not and I haven't made adjustments to anything. Okay what I am talking about is my MOD CP on the left hand side where I can mass delete or close topics.....doesn't work just goes to the top. When I hover over it, it says

I know it has to do with the # more then likely but I don't know why it is doing that. Any suggestions?

Try it on another skin (or the default skin if you are using another one)
If its no better, re-upload /jscripts
If it works on the default skin but not the others , take a copy of /style_images/(skin name)/folder_js_skin and then copy the folder_js_skin from /style_images/1 into the 'faulty' skin.
