Will add new buttons on forum view to show an ajax form to create a new topic in a faster way.

I seriously feel myself an idiot, but no Quick Topic button for me in 3.1 :-(
Didn't find any options either.

I am administrator of the board and I can post anywhere. Still no button.

That's the only check this hook does.

OK, got it. I was looking for it in TOPIC view. In forum view everything is perfect.

So since we have New Topic button both in forum and topic views, maybe you should add Quick Topic button in topic view as well?

thanks for update. but quick topic button only appear in forums not in topics. please when you update next time just put the quick topic button in forum and in topic also. and give some settings in ACP for Enable/Disable, choice for admin where he want to show this quick button in which forums. also which group can use this and which not. and if you add BBCODE and smiles so this mod will be more useful then this.

I see no sense in what you're saying.

This hook adds another button to the forum view; it works just like START NEW TOPIC button! The difference:

START NEW TOPIC shows grayed (disabled) if you haven't permission to create a topic
QUICK TOPIC didn't show if you haven't permission to create a topic

I see no setting for START NEW TOPIC button; that's why I don't see much sense in add this for my hook.

And yes, BBCODES and SMILES are allowed.

You are right it is. but i m talking about Enable/Disable feature in ACP which quickly disable this in all forums if admin want for specific time.

I don't understand what are you saying. i just advise if you put some more feature like forums selection where admin can allow this quick topics. for example i have chit-chat forum where i don't wish to allow this feature of quick topic but i want to allow this feature in its sub-forum so how can i do this ? so why i said also add forums permissions as like group.

yes its is, i have talking for adding some button like color, bold, text-decoration, link, image. because members are lazy to recommend bbcode in their mind so they need click able BBCODE like in Fast Reply and in Full Reply.

thanks. i also tell you one more thing here. i have installed your forum stats mod. everything is fine but Quick topic button going below of the forum stats which really look strange.
