IP.Download 2.2.0 final

When logged in as an admin, and trying any moderator functions from the drop down box the following message comes up:

Quote

[#10799] Sorry, but you do not have permission to use this feature. If you are not logged in, you may do so using the form below if available.

Not sure why this is happening, any suggestions appreciated.

I don't have that version installed. However:

You may still need to add your group (admin) as a moderator.

ACP > My Apps > Downloads > 'Categories' > Click grey button on right hand side > 'Add Moderator'

"Moderator Type" = Group

"Group or Member" = Administrators

"Categories" (select them all if needed)

Adjust the options (edit / delete etc) as needed and save.

yes, administrator is already there as the moderator group. Other moderator functions work such as make invisible, delete, etc. when using the buttons. However the drop down box produces that error. I am 99% sure the problem is similar to when a moderator tries to use the mod drop down box on the forum for posts also. Very annoying, 3 betas and now the final.

There was a bug with this a long time ago but it should be fixed now. You are using board 310 as you are using Downloads 220 ?

I'd have to suggest its a bug then. You may want to post a bug report in the IPS Bug Tracker and submit a ticket in the Client Center so they can see why its doing that. ;)
