I used the component I bought from IPS to remove copyright by accident. Is there any way I can get copyright back on my board? I'm using a 2.3.6 version board.

I'm going from memory here as I've not seen the ACP of a 2.x board with the COR component for a long time.
When its installed legitimately, there's a setting in Tools / Settings called 'IPB Copyright' or 'Copyright Removal' , this has the on / off switch along with the key that's needed to make it work.
If this is visible in Tools / Settings , simply choose to display the copyright as normal.
If that does not work, turn your board offline. Put it into dev mode (edit init.php) then the settings will be visible, turn COR off then disable in_dev mode, and finally turn your board back online.
If this fails, contact IPS and ask them. The on / off switch will NOT work if COR is not installed, its only hidden (without the COR component) so people do not get confused why it does not work.

Why would you want IPS Copyright on your board anyway? I know I have it on mine, but I mean, what's wrong with not having it on?
