im trying to upgrade from 2.3.6 to the latest one

i just renewed my board license.. got the new board files

now im getting this error

That should not happen

Can you restore a backup and re-run the upgrader ? , it will probably go through OK this time.

I have done about half a dozen tests upgrades 236 to 312 without this issue.

You might have to put in a ticket for that to be honest, I can see what its doing but not why. When you attempted it again, did you re-upload the 312 files ?

I thought about manually creating any custom profile fields again (but this would usually involve the loss of any data present in them in your 236 board) , but there is not a lot present in the one causing the problem anyways:

is there a way i can empty the ENTIRE forum of modifications and then export the database as a backup. and then try to upgrade again?
