Description: With this app you can allow your members invite other members.

Installation: without any file or skin edits -> thanks to the new hooks system.

Features:

• enable/disable system,
  
• select allowed groups to use this mod,
  
• two invite types: free -> user may or may not enter inviter name; force -> user must enter inviter name,
  
• list of all invited users,
  
• list of all invited users in ACP with filter option for search invited members for specific user,
  
• invites by referral link,
  
• points system integration ( any system! ),
  
• promotion to the new group after reaching specific amount of referred users,
  
• ability to enable/disable member powers to raising people via ACP,

I and many others have been waiting for years for a proper referral system. The ideal system would be one that allowed me to see a summary of who has invited who, as well as say I could see a list of names and how many each person had inivted. If this was linked to a points system whereby once you had invited say 50 people your account could be upgraded to a new user level.

Is this the direction that you will take this mod in? Or is what I am asking too much or complicated for IPB 3.1.2xxx?

I have installed the mod and it works perfectly.

I have sat down and reviews my 'wish list'

I think this is an excellent start but needs more features like:

• being able to change that text that appears beside the referral box on the register page via the admin panel rather than in the languages file - this would help mumpties like me
  
  
• attaching a point to every person that gets a referral, and for those points to accrue
  
  
• once they reach a certain number of referrals they can get an auto upgrade to new group etc
  
  
• to be able to change the person that referred them in case an error was made e.g. If there are two display names dave and dave 1 and the perosn registering enters dave instead of dave1 this will need to be corrected.
  
  
• a way to choose to notifiy the member that has been used as a referral e.g. pm, email, inline etc and a way to edit the contents of those message
  
  
• perhaps link the points accrual to shop systems

A lot I know but I thing that you have started something very powerful here and If you can get it to do things like that I think you will sell many of them over many years as it is what people have been waiting for a long long time.
