Hi everybody,

I'm pretty new to this all so excuse me if I'm asking some 'obvious' things! I've tried to get help from the Services section before, unfortunately no replies there...

So, I'm trying to install the mod called Forum Icons http://invisionmoddi...32-forum-icons/

I'm running IPB 3.2.2 hosted by Invision. The readme file of the mod tells me to upload the content of the Upload folder
within the same file structure to the ftp server.

Problem is I have found two directories with the same folder names:

- /public_html has /admin and /uploads

- /www has /admin and /uploads

Into which directory do I have to upload? And, is it sufficient to copy the whole admin folder into the correct directory, or do I have to place the contents of the
subfolders individually to their directories?

Next question, should the skin edit instructions work with a standard Invision skin, and is that all that would need to be done in order to get the mod working
to replace the folder icons?

I'd really appreciate some help!

Thanks very much,

MAC

I suspect the "www" directory is a shortcut to "public_html", or vice versa. If the file listings in those two dirs are exactly the same, that is the case. If it's not, you want to upload your stuff to the once that have files like index.php, conf_global.php and initdata.php. Do not merge the content of these two, as that can lead to some very unpleasant issues
