Hey Michael, http://invisionmoddi...user/1-michael/

I just wanted to personally thank you for all your hard work and time for making mod's for IPB 1.3, I was browsing the section and I saw some cool mods that you have made.  You made me learn more about the coding infrastructure of 1.3, and I just want to take the time out of my day to make this post to congratulate you and kudo's for doing that.  If you have any other ipb 1.3 random modifications laying around on old computers/whatnot, if you could upload them it would be Great.  But most Importantly I wanted to say.. Thank you for what you have done with the old legacy version.  Viewing your tutorials and mod's were not that much of "Help" as I know how 1.3 works, but after looking over the code you used to create such mods, it just inspired me to create more and better ones, which I want to thank you.

I did, but all of that stuff I did with 1.3 was years ago, it doesn't hold a candle to the quality of stuff I'm producing today.

Feel sad. One day you can enter any bug or mod that you need in google, and whola! Anything you need for 1.3. Any mod, I even catched full support from IPB developers such as www.ibresource.ru/ and www.invisionize.com . They use to have tons of mods and i mean TONS. People worked hard on developing them, and supporting them. Now what? All gone. I mean, I understand IPB moving forward and there is no support for IPB 1.3 anymore. But why delete everything. Some people just need mods for IPB 1.3. Why delete peoples hard work?

I love ipb 1.3 . Running my site on it right now. But any serious modification to mysql or php and my site is dead. Ok, people have moved on to newer versions. So what harm is it to save section for ipb 1.3 mods, and people who still using the platform. I just don't get why people just delete 1000's of mods for 1.3 without any notice or share whole archive in .zip with the people? why not share if you gonna delete anyway. I't like deleting History. Sad

The thing is, it uses older server software to run and people have upgraded... so either have the modern types of code or have old IPB... obvious answer is modern.
