We have installed the Advanced Adverts mod on a 3.2.2 board but I'm having some issues getting any of the ads to be displayed.

This is what I have done so far:

Added an advert type (Graphic Image)


Added an advert


Added a template



Imported premoded sections



And that's that. What else do I have to do to be able to display the advert?

If I click on one of the premoded sections there is a whole bunch of checkboxes that I'm not sure about:


What are all these? "Admin Forum Set"? "Banned Forum Set"? Do I have to tick some of these checkboxes? The screenshot is from the "Top" section, and none of the checkboxes are checked.

Any help would be very appreciated.

Those are a group mask permissions.. Just select few or all and then advert should appear.. If not please send me your ACP details.. I'll check it for you.

On the "Top" section I checked the box under "Global Permissions", and then the advert appeared on the front page of the forum, even though I have specified in the advert that it should only appear in a specific sub-forum.

I have found another small issue ... I have added a "Flash banner ads" type, and I have checked the "Show flash adverts" checkbox in settings, but the flash banner I have added is not visible in the ACP, it just says "Flash advert".

Have I done the right thing when pasting the <object ... ></object> tag in the "Advert Content" for the flash banner?

What details do you need? We are using IP.Board v3.2.2 and we have v1.1.0 of your advert mod.

You are kidding right? Why on earth do you need the username and password for our forum to debug on your dev board?

I won't provide you with this. I can dump relevant tables from the database if that would help?

How I can reproduce this situation? So send me screenshots on my mail (provided in instruction for this mod). This is first info.

The second: I'm not kidding. What surprised you in my ask? It's normal question and operation to check client's board.

No, it's not normal to ask for the username and password of a client. I'm not going to waste my (and your) time discussing this.

If I provide you with the database dumps related to your mod you should be able to reproduce this problem.
