Does anyone have an idea how you can make a scrollbar appear on signatures that are larger than a pre-defined size?

I suppose you can add a
in the .signature CSS. I don't remember if that was the class in IPB 2.3, it's been a while since I used it. But try that code on whatever class the signature code is.
overflow: scroll;

set the overflow like Bitter said, buy you also have to set the height and width in pixels in order to have an overflow.
