When people use Facebook or Twitter to sign up, they are prompted to create a new Display Name (since i replaced connect.php on 3.2.3 with the one at 3.2.2). I want to let them create a Local Password too in case i disable the Facebook/Twitter Connect function.
How can that be done? So they will be able to login using the internal login form
(And no, i know that you can do that by going to Settings -> Password -> Create Local Password, i want that to be done while they are registering )
Any ideas? I find a setting like that really critical...and i'm not sure why it's not implemented and they are actually "ruining" the Facebook / Twitter connect feature by forcing people to signup using their Facebook/Twitter name....Jesus Christ....

Hmm I see your point. Although I do not know if this has been addressed by IPS. It's definitely something to recommend as feedback to them. Although, I suppose if you disable facebook/twitter login, then it is meant to disable anyone who uses facebook or twitter to log in completely and they are not allowed to access the board. Maybe the setting should be changed in terms of how it's worded. Instead of disable facebook/twitter login, it should be "disable anyone who uses facebook or twitter from accessing the board" since that's pretty much what it does right now, and can be misleading.
