Note: At the moment, there is currently only one default supplied hook with IP. Gallery, however this tutorial will cover any other ones released in the future that are included as standard.
Having said that, here is how to restore the Recent Gallery Images hook.
If you do not have the IP. Gallery .zip file, download it from IPS.
Look in here > \admin\applications_addon\ips\gallery\xml\hooks and find the gallery_images_board_index.xml file.
Reimport that .xml file and your deleted hook will be back.
