BBCode - News Source
For IPB 2.0.x
By AgentA of MavRev.com

This BBCode can be used in the posting of news articles to give credit to your source. It's very simple and is really just a shortcut for doing it.
___________________________________________________________
Step 1. Login to the ACP and go to the Custom BBCode page. Click add new entry.
___________________________________________________________
Step 2. Input the following.

Custom BBCode Title
News Source
Custom BBCode Description
This tag will properly source a reference in news articles or posts.
Custom BBCode Example
[source]News.com[/source]
Custom BBCode Tag
source
Use Option in tag?
No
Custom BBCode Replacement
<tag>Source:<a href=http://www.{content}>{content}</a></tag>
___________________________________________________________
Step 3. Save and add the custom BBCode.

NOTE: It adds the http:// and www. to whatever you type so you must put the .com, .org, etc, after the name of the website. Also do not put spaces for the same reason. You can link to a page even and it'll put "Source:" in front of it so you can use this for just simple posts.
___________________________________________________________
Step 4. Test it on your forum. Use the following, or similar, to test.
[source]News.com[/source]
___________________________________________________________
You're done. Enjoy the code and credit those sources!
